Training, courses and career coaching

Do you need support for your career plans or tips for employment? Career coaching provides you with information, counselling and support that help you get a clearer idea of your choice of profession and career alternatives. Our career services are intended for all members.

Personal career coaching

Your membership fee includes two coaching sessions each year. The first conversation will last 30 minutes. If you like, you can send questions or your CV in advance to make the best use of the time. The coaching will be carried out via video connection or telephone.If you prefer not to choose a theme with a specialized coach, you can also book general coaching.

Themes for coaching could be e.g. supervisory duties, job serach channels, career change situations or well-being at work.

How to log in the career portal

In the career portal, you can watch free webinars and webinar recordings to develop your skills and support your job search. 

1. Click the link www.urapalvelut.fi/asia/portal and select your union from the list: Asiantuntija ja Esihenkilöt ASIA.
2. Log in / Register. If you don't have a password yet, please leave it empty and just enter your email address.

Job search guide for KOKO unemployment fund members

The job search guide has been produced in cooperation with the KOKO unemployment fund and member unions. The guide gives you the tools to identify your skills, write an impactful CV and cover letter, leverage your contacts and networks and prepare for job interviews.

We warmly welcome you to participate in Start to Finnish® - Advance Your Career in Finland, an online training designed for international union members who want to deepen their understanding of Finnish working life, labour market practices and society. The training is particularly suitable for those who are working in Finland or planning to build a longer-term career here and wish to strengthen their knowledge independently, alongside work and everyday life.

Training Duration & Structure:

The training is fully online and self-paced, with no scheduled lectures or fixed timetables. All training materials are available on an online learning platform, allowing you to progress at a pace that suits your own schedule. You don’t have to complete the whole training either, as you can also search and learn more only about the topics relevant to you at this time.
