Changes in my membership

Keep your membership information up to date in the ASIA member portal.

In particular, it is important that your email address and job information are up-to-date so that we can better serve you and send industry or company-specific current affairs information.

Notice: Pilot members have their own Pilots pages in the Portal. On those pages you can find information e.g. about MERCER and APPN license insurance.

In the member portal you can

• view and modify your membership information (My information)
• apply for a membership fee discount when changes in your membership status
• view your invoice information

Under the Services you can find:

• ASIA's own holiday apartments in Himos (Jämsä) and Vierumäki - bookable via the Member+ portal
• salary statistics - sector-specific salary ranges for experts, foremen and managers.
• webinar recordings
• a registration link to Eduhouse servive (new training benefit for members)

Senior membership

Those who are permanently out of the workforce, for example due to disability or old-age retirement, have the opportunity to become a senior member of ASIA. The senior membership fee is 6.50 euros/month (2026) and it is charged in one installment at 78.00 euros/year. To apply for senior membership, you need to fill in the application in the ASIA member portal.

A senior member has almost the same benefits as a normal member. Senior membership does not include employment-related legal advice and assistance. Membership in the unemployment fund ends with senior membership. If's leisure time accident and traveller’s insurance included in the membership is valid until the end of the year in which the member turns 68.

Passive membership

A member temporarily living abroad who is not covered by Finnish social security has the option to become a passive member of ASIA. A passive member has access to ASIA’s advisory services on employment issues related to Finnish labor law and receives the ASIA magazine at their home address. Passive membership does not include membership in the unemployment fund. The membership fee for a passive member of ASIA is €2/month.

To apply for passive membership, you need to fill in the application in the ASIA member portal.

Termination of membership

If you want to terminate your membership with ASIA, you must notify us yourself and specifically mention leaving the KOKO unemployment fund. The resignation date is the date specified in advance by the member, or the date the online notification is sent. The resignation cannot be recorded retroactively. 

To terminate ASIA membership, you need to fill in the application in the ASIA member portal.
