Discounted membership fees

You may receive a discount on the membership fee if you have no earned income or compensable salary for at least one calendar month due to unemployment, layoff, parental leave, studies or long-term illness.

We grant a discount on the membership fee to those members who are without salary income or compensation for unemployment, lay-off, family leave, studies or long-term illness. The shortest period to qualify for the discount is one full calendar month.

How to apply for membership fee discount?

The membership fee discount must be applied for in writing separately for each year. Please note, that ASIA does not receive information about, for example, unemployment or studies directly from authorities or the unemployment fund, so the member must provide the necessary information themselves.

The discount must be applied for by the end of the calendar year (December 31) to which the discount applies. Late applications cannot be processed.

To apply the discount you need to fill the Membership fee discount application in the ASIA portal. Attach a scanned or electronic document proving the reason for the discount (e.g. unemployment certificate, study certificate). The application must indicate the period for which the discount is applied for.

Membership fee discounts and overpaid fees

Overpaid membership fees are automatically taken into account in future membership fee invoices. Please note that no retroactive discount will be granted to the resigned member.
